With the rapid development of Indonesia’s automotive industry, a large automobile manufacturing plant in Jakarta, Indonesia, has been upgrading its production lines. Higher requirements were placed on the lifting efficiency and safety of car bodies, dies, and large components. The existing lifting equipment could no longer meet the demands of high-intensity, continuous production in terms of rated capacity, operational stability, and maintenance costs.
Based on this situation, the client decided to introduce a 20-ton single girder overhead crane to handle material lifting in the stamping workshop and final assembly area, aiming to comprehensively improve production efficiency and reduce operational risks.

After production was completed, the project team carried out export packaging, ocean transportation, and on-site installation guidance as scheduled. Upon arrival in Jakarta, the crane was installed and commissioned in strict accordance with international standards, followed by no-load, rated load, and overload testing.
Ultimately, the 20-ton single girder overhead crane successfully passed customer acceptance and was officially put into daily operation at the automobile manufacturing plant.
After commissioning, workshop material handling efficiency improved significantly. Lifting operations became safer and more stable, and equipment failure rates were markedly reduced.
