HSCRANE 5 Ton Portable Gantry Crane Successfully Exported to Argentina

Early this year, HSCRANE successfully delivered a 5-ton portable gantry crane to a machining enterprise in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The customer frequently adjusted layouts and could not install fixed cranes. Our technical team customized a highly mobile portable gantry crane solution for them. This saved modification costs and perfectly matched flexible material lifting needs.

Rigorous Manufacturing Standards

This gantry crane, product number HNHS2601045, strictly followed high standard manufacturing and inspection processes during production:

●Reinforced steel structure design: The gantry crane main beam and legs use Q235B premium carbon structural steel. Considering the 10-meter span, stiffeners were added inside the main beam. This controls deflection under a 5-ton full load and ensures excellent structural stability at A3 class.

●Dual-speed lifting system configuration: For precise workpiece alignment, the gantry crane uses a 0.8/8 m/min dual-speed electric hoist. Combining fast and slow speeds ensures daily handling efficiency. It also avoids collision risks during mold assembly.

●Comprehensive anti-corrosion coating: The gantry crane metal surface underwent shot blasting to remove rust. It is coated with epoxy zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat. The total paint thickness is 120 microns to resist sea transport and semi-outdoor corrosion perfectly.

Professional Packaging for Ocean Transport

For South American long-distance sea transport climate, HSCRANE logistics designed a special protection plan for this gantry crane:

●Modular disassembly and packaging: The 10-meter main beam and 4.5-meter legs were reasonably separated. This reduced sea freight volume costs and helped the customer assemble the gantry crane easily on-site.

●Multi-layer waterproof wrapping: Three layers of thickened waterproof colored cloth tightly wrapped the gantry crane main structure. This effectively isolated the equipment from sea breeze and moisture erosion.

●Fumigation-free wooden box sealing: Electric control boxes, hoists, and fasteners entered ISPM-15 compliant fumigation-free wooden boxes. Sufficient desiccants and shock-absorbing buffer materials were added inside.

Efficient Cross-Sea Transport and Delivery

Logistics shipping also requires careful planning. The equipment was safely loaded into a 40HQ container the week packaging was finished. It officially set sail from Qingdao Port. During this period, our merchandiser updated the ship route and ETA to the Argentine customer weekly.

After about 45 days of sailing, the goods successfully arrived at the port of Buenos Aires, Argentina. We provided detailed customs clearance documents before shipment. These included certificate of origin, invoice, packing list, and 380V/50HZ electrical compliance proof. Thanks to this, the customer completed port pickup in just three days, achieving seamless transport.

Customer Site and Project Results

With remote guidance from the HSCRANE technical team, the customer finished site assembly in one day. They also completed the power-on debugging for this 5-ton gantry crane very quickly.
